Opening day is for button holder members only and is listed on our calendar. All button holders may begin fishing the next day. The Tyngsboro Sportsmen’s Club sponsors special Veteran event fishing days. Check the calendar for details. There are also Kid’s day fishing events for members. Details on our calendar. Rifle
Outdoor rifle range features: 6 shooting stations 6 high power rifle stations 4 shotgun/muzzleloader stations, Rifled Slugs, Musket Balls only 50-100-150-200 yard target stations 200 yards max. target range Range Open Sundays 9 A.M. to Dusk Range Open Mon. – Sat. 8 A.M. to Dusk Shotguns for Buckshot or Birdshot MUST be used on Outdoor Pistol Range Only Trap Practice is held Monday & Tuesday Evenings from 4:00PM until dusk. Open to the public on Monday Nights. Cost is $3.00 per round (25 Targets) 5 rounds per station, 5 stations. Tuesday and Wednesday nights are for B+D division. Tyngsboro is a member of the Greater Lowell trap league. NO SHOOTING on Sundays before 9 A.M.
Pistol
Indoor Range: 6 Shooting stations with automated target distance settings. Only provided targets may be used. Outdoor pistol range features: 6 shooting stations 25 yards maximum range, movable target holders to accommodate shooting from contact distance to 25 yards No caliber or bullet type restrictions for handguns Shotguns and carbines can be used at 25 yards only Range Open Sundays 9 A.M. to Dusk Range Open Mon. – Sat. 8 A.M. to Dusk The Tyngsboro Sportsmen’s Club Pistol Team is a member of the Nashoba Valley Pistol League and competes in the N.R.A. Gallery Pistol Conventional Match shooting course of fire which is twenty two caliber Olympic Free Pistol. Matches are held on Wednesday nights; the season runs from October through March. Team members utilize the new indoor pistol range; team practice is held as needed. Members interested in shooting on the team and/or in learning to shoot pistol, please contact Paul Tassi by text (617)470-2131.
Archery
Indoor Archery runs from the first Thursday in January until the last Thursday in April for non-members and 7 days a week for members. Outdoor Archery is open 7 days a week for members and their guests. In case of inclement weather the indoor range may be used as long as there is no event scheduled. There are four outdoor practice butts setup for use by members 7 days a week and by non-members on Thursday nights and during 3D shoots. The use of Broad – heads is strictly forbidden at any time on these butt targets.
Function Hall Rental
The price for Function Hall rental is $200.00 for a 4 hour time period (includes bartender). Each additional hour is $25.00.
A deposit is needed to hold your day. Function Hall can ONLY be rented by Active Members.
